Barziliai to Release New Album

Cantor Shmuel Barzilai, chief cantor of the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde in Vienna, Austria will be releasing a new album in the coming months.

Titled Shema Yisrael, the album will feature cantorial classics and favorites.

Barzilai has served as the chief cantor in Vienna since 1992 and studied under cantor Moshe Stern in the Tel Aviv Institute for Cantorial Art. He was in the first graduating class of the Institute.
