Cantor Abraham B. Shapiro was born on May 12, 1926 and passed away on August 2, 2005. He was the Cantor Emeritus of 57 years at Congregation Beth David of Lynbrook NY. As Cantor, Teacher and Principal of the Hebrew School, he was renowned for his magnificent voice, Judaic Knowledge and wonderful sense of humour.
